Daylight savings starts here in NZ this weekend. Ugh. I hate it. In my opinion, the night should be dark and the day should be light, there's no need to keep messing with it. Of course, time is a construct we invented anyway, so…
Still in the unpacking phase in Tate's Nest. This week our new couch collapsed and needs to be returned so that we can get our money back. I'm currently in talks with the company we bought it from because they're insisting we pack it up for transport, as the freight company demands it.
Pack it up? What? It's a fucking couch. We haven't kept any cardboard from our move, why would we? What's to pack up? We can throw the cushions in a bag I guess but we're not about to go dismantly the thing again. The Count struggles to breathe and I can't manage any of this stuff either.
Anyhoo, I've sent them an email saying that they'll need to find an alternative. We'll see how we go. Sigh.
